AeroCanopy makes custom airplane canopies for experimental aircraft using cell cast acrylic sheet. Some time before 2012 Todd Silver started developing canopy making tools and processes at Todd's Canopies in Oakland, FL. Very tragically, Todd passed away Saturday, 2016 June 12th, as a result of a plane crash. On 2017 September 1st Lance Logan started operating the canopy making with the new AeroCanopy name. On 2019 February 4th Charlie Stence continued to develope and refine the process at the Indiantown airport in Florida. On 2021 February 19th Ranny Meier and Ron Fischer started operating AeroCanopy in St. Louis, MO. and have added instrumentation to the oven making consistent and repeatable canopy profiles.
